Della’s Design Story
As a creative person, I have always looked for ways to express my artistic side. Whether I was redesigning an entire year’s worth of arts and crafts projects when I taught Pre-K, or teaching myself how to create personalized greeting cards in Adobe Photoshop, I was always looking for more creative outlets. After a few career changes, I finally made a mid-life decision to pursue my dream job, and combine my innate creativity with my technical savvy. So to begin my journey towards becoming a web and graphic designer, I enrolled at Sessions College for Professional Design. After earning my Web Design degree with honors, I began doing freelance graphic design and web design.
In 2017, I opened my own design studio, Della’s Design Solutions, which gives me the ability to develop lasting professional relationships with my clients. I enjoy watching their businesses grow and flourish, knowing that my design work plays an integral role in their success.
Always seeking to learn and develop my skills, I follow the work of other talented designers as well as design blogs and websites. I also stay up to date with current design trends and web standards. As such, my designs are polished and professional and always adhere to industry standards.
Firmly believing that each client and brand is unique, I do not create “one size fits all” design solutions. Whether a project involves customizing a template or writing custom code, I deliver design solutions that are personalized for each client.
When not working on a design project, I enjoy traveling, cruising, spending time with my family, nature photography, fishing, cooking, and volunteering in various community efforts. I am a native Houstonian and enjoy Houston’s melting-pot of art and culture, frequently visiting museums, restaurants and local events.

To stay current with the latest design trends and digital tools, I follow tutorials, design blogs, and fellow designers. I apply tried and true design principles with modern techniques to create effective design solutions.
